Brief summary and personal reflection on the story
There are many relationships in our society between friends, family, teachers and students. However, one of the most important relationships is between teacher and student. Tuesday with Morrie carries it out.
The story begins with the point of view of the student, Mitch Albom. And Morrie was a professor of his university. They were quite close. Mitch, who sought his identity in toughness, called him coach. And he didn't know the reason, however, Morrie was always glad him warmly.
After Mitch graduated from his school, he didn't keep in touch with Morrie. Mitch was busy working. One day, he saw a TV show which televised about Morrie. So he visited Morrie and then their class began.
Mitch is healthy and younger then Morrie. Morrie is wise and has had many experiences. So they could be perfect partner to each other. Morrie teaches Mitch a lot of value. Love, hope, how to live meaningful life, friendship....
Through teaching like this kind things, Mitch could learn valuable things in life. Morrie was dying, though, he didn't surrendered to fear of death. So this story has many touching scenes.
One of the most interested things in this story is 'Living funeral'.
Morrie got ready to accept death. So he call to a few of his relatives, friends. And then each of them spoke and paid tribute to Morrie. Some of them cried. Morrie also cried and laughed with them.
